The main duty of Academics Portfolio is to organize workshops to teach and share the knowledge with the EEE student body in various domains that our subcommittee member are capable of: machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, robotics.
MLDA Workshop series
We have our MLDA weekly workshops, organized in a series lasting a year to teach our student the fundamental of machine learning and deep learning.

External
I also went to various Machine Learning, Robotics meet up by organized by Google Developer Groups (GDG) to meet new people, keep up with the advancement in the field, and bring back useful knowledge for MLDA.
GPU Server Management
MLDA has GPU servers and workstations, managed by the students for the student projects. I was in charge of managing both the newer 3090 remote GPU server for the project teams as well as the 2080Ti onsite GPU workstations for learning and teaching purposes.
MLDA Robotics Team
I led the MLDA Robotics Team initiative to continue the legacy of the seniors.
Inspiration
When I first joined MLDA in 2021 only having robotics experience, I did not have much expectation for myself in this Machine Learning club. This senior, a former Academics Vice President, inspired me to work hard, aim high and ultimately sign up for Academics Vice President nomination in AY23/24. And I was glad that I did!
